Trade Relations

Saudi Arabia’s major imports from Pakistan consist of rice, vegetables, and ready-made garments, sports goods, footballs, handicraft, leathers, carpets, towels, cotton fabrics, fish and fish preparation, synthetic fabrics, made up textiles, tents and canvas, fruits, honey, and printed matter.

Pakistan – Saudi Arabia Joint Ministerial Commission (JMC)

Pakistan and Saudi Arabia JMC was established in 1976, so far nine sessions are held alternately in Islamabad and Riyadh. Last session was held in Islamabad on September 26, 2012.

Minister of Commerce is the Co-Chair from Pakistan side and Minister of Commerce and Industry is the Co-Chair from Saudi side. The purpose of this commission is to strengthen business relations between the two counties in all fields of mutual interest.
